How I make people o3o [oh-three-oh]?
You may know of emoticons like xD, :-), or (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻, though o3o is a quirky one that means intriguing or "woah! I’m surprised my needs were actually met and validated!" when related to UX.
It wasn’t until one of my favorite products, Discord, rebranded itself from being a gaming chat platform to a virtual third place where people found their inclusive communities. That’s when I knew I wanted to design experiences that made people feel inclusive.
*cracks knuckles* So I grinded my butt off to design a Discord experience that allowed users to have unique profile pictures for their servers and it made people o3o. The rest was history.
